Halloween Chocolate events at Garcia Nevett
It's only midday and we have already had a great Halloween! We had lots of Halloween chocolate theme events at Garcia Nevett that were really fun and different.
Our Kids' Halloween Chocolate Event brought over 40 kids to the store to learn about chocolates and paint their own pumpkins. Everyone had a phantasmagoric time painting with cacao butter, filling their Halloween chocolate pumpkins with sweets and decorating their Halloween baskets.
For a more adult celebration, we had Sweet Horror, a multi-sensory Halloween chocolate and liqueurs pairing with a talk about horror in art and the history of Halloween. Guests drank and tasted carefully created gory pairings while enjoying wonderful conversation by art historian Armando Droulers. Pairings included: Fleur de Sel skull with Port wine, Apricot and Coffee eyeball with Cognac and 73.5% Chocolate with Crema de Tequila.
