A Christmas Story Told in Chocolate: Advent Calendar 2026

Christmas has always been more than a single day for us.

It is the anticipation that comes before it. The music, the familiar recipes, the decorations brought out year after year, and the small traditions that tell us the season has begun.

This year, for the first time, we have gathered those feelings into the Garcia Nevett Advent Calendar: Twenty-Four Days of Holiday Confections.

It is one of the most personal things we have ever created.

From Christmas in Venezuela to Christmas in Miami

We grew up celebrating Christmas in Venezuela, surrounded by family, food, aguinaldos, and traditions that made the entire month of December feel festive.

Christmas was warm, lively, and abundant. The table mattered. The sweets mattered. But most of all, the time spent together mattered.

Today, we celebrate Christmas in Miami as mothers, carrying many of those childhood memories with us while creating new traditions with our own families. Our holidays now hold pieces of both places: Venezuela and Miami, childhood and motherhood, memory and reinvention.

This Advent Calendar was born from all of those Christmases.

We wanted to create something classic and cozy—something that would make opening a small box each day feel like a meaningful ritual. A reason to pause, even for a moment, during one of the busiest times of the year.

More Than Ten Years of Chocolate Experience

For more than a decade, we have worked with chocolate in all its forms.

We have tasted cacao from different origins, developed ganaches and caramels, experimented with textures, studied traditional techniques, and created confections inspired by the places and flavors that have shaped us.

The Advent Calendar brings all of that experience together.

Behind each little box are years of tasting, learning, refining, and making chocolate by hand. Some days hold simple expressions of excellent chocolate, including mini bars made with premium single-origin cacao. Other days reveal more elaborate confections, developed especially for this calendar and unavailable anywhere else.

Every day is different.

That variety is part of the pleasure. You will not know whether the next box contains something smooth, crunchy, nostalgic, sophisticated, comforting, or completely unexpected.

You only have to open it.

Twenty-Four Tiny Treasures

We approached the calendar as a collection of twenty-four tiny treasures.

We did not want it to feel like the same chocolate repeated behind different doors. We wanted each day to have its own personality and each confection to deserve its place in the countdown.

There are classic flavors that feel at home at Christmas, signature Garcia Nevett creations, beautiful single-origin chocolates, and new treats imagined specifically for this first edition.

Some confections are meant to be slowly tasted and considered. Others are simply meant to be enjoyed.

Together, they tell the story of who we are as chocolatiers: Venezuelan sisters making chocolate in Miami, inspired by tradition but always curious about what else chocolate can become.

A Daily Moment to Slow Down

December can disappear quickly.

There are gifts to find, meals to plan, places to be, and lists that seem to grow longer instead of shorter. The Advent Calendar offers a small interruption to all that rushing.

Twenty-four days.
Twenty-four little boxes.
Twenty-four reasons to slow down.

Inside each one:
a handcrafted chocolate,
a holiday flavor,
a tiny treasure
from Garcia Nevett.

Open the day’s box in the morning with your coffee. Save it for a quiet moment in the afternoon. Share it after dinner—or keep it entirely to yourself.

There is no wrong way to make the ritual your own.

Our First Custom Advent Calendar

We have created many chocolates over the years, but this calendar feels different.

Perhaps it is because it contains so much of our shared story: the Christmases we remember, the traditions we continue, the expertise we have developed, and the lives we have built together as sisters, chocolatiers, and mothers.

We hope it becomes part of your family’s Christmas story, too.

We hope you look forward to opening each box. We hope you discover a new favorite. Most of all, we hope it gives you a reason to pause and enjoy the season, one chocolate at a time.

Open each box with anticipation.
Enjoy every bite.

Every day, one chocolate closer to Christmas
