Art and Chocolate Tasting and Pairing in Miami

Sweet Horror: Tales of Art & Chocolate. A unique chocolate tasting.

The first of a new series of art talks with chocolate pairings held at Garcia Nevett. Art historian Armando Droulers @artmandobonvivant will take us on a tour of
the macabre and disturbing works of art on this Halloween eve while also tasting chocolate and spirit tastings inspired by the works.

Discover the tales behind some of the most iconic works of horror-inspired art while tasting chocolate and spirits paired especially with each other and the works discussed. This multi-sensory lecture is an entertaining and different way to spend your evening.

Masters of disturbing, chilling, deranged and creepy works, artists have always been attracted to the images that terrify us. They lead us through that darker disturbing world of beheadings, the macabre, the supernatural, the triumph of the dead, the stomping of condemned souls possessed by the devil. From the Baroque to the Romantic to the Symbolists and Surrealists, the frightful images of their creative imaginations lead us to the world of darkness, sweet and tasteful horror.

You cannot miss this multi-sensory event of art, chocolate and drinks!
